Quote:
His fathers voice would always deepen at the phrase Blue Remembered Hills, and when they left his room, and for the weeks afterward when they would be always, he would watch the far off hills take on a blue tinge.
Question:
What does Ugwu think about his father? Why does he really like this poem in particular? Are him and his father close? Do they communicate? What kind of life style does he live with him? Will his father come up more in the book?
Comment:
The way he (Ugwu) explained the way his father said this poem it sounds like his father is a very good person. It also sounds like this poem will really follow him in life alot. He might have a really good connection with his father too. When he talks about his fathers deep voice it sound like he is the head of the house hold, and that every time his dad told this poem it would take Ugwu away and had him day dreaming.
